These terms and conditions apply to the New Gild Jewelers website located at www.newgild.com, and all associated Web sites linked to www.newgild.com by New Gild Jewelers, its subsidiaries and affiliates, (collectively 'the Site'). Please read these terms and conditions (the 'Terms and Conditions') carefully. BY USING THE SITE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of, and any purchase from, the New Gild Jewelers Site, and constitute an agreement between you and New Gild Jewelers. New Gild Jewelers reserves the right to change or modify any of these Terms and Conditions or any policy or guideline of the Site at any time, and in its sole discretion. Any change or modification will be effective immediately upon posting of the revisions on the Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of its changes or modifications will constitute your acceptance of such changes or modifications. Therefore, you should frequently review these Terms and Conditions and any other applicable policies from time-to-time to understand the terms and conditions that apply to your use of the Site. If you do not agree to the amended terms, you must stop using the Site.

Product Availability and Pricing

Sometimes with the volume of orders we receive, an item shown on the site may not be in stock. If this happens, we will contact you directly to discuss possible options. Also, Data, including prices, may be inaccurately displayed on our Site due to system or typographical errors. While we make every attempt to avoid these errors, they may occur. We reserve the right to correct any and all errors when they do occur, and we do not honor inaccurate or erroneous prices. If a product's listed price is lower than its actual price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping the product or cancel the order and notify you of such cancellation. Our prices are also subject to change without notice. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Prices on some semi-mounts do not include center gems unless clearly noted. Although many jewelers will not set stones they do not supply, in most cases we can set your gemstones. Setting fees are based on job difficulty and the value of the Gemstone. Please ask your New Gild Jewelers designer for information on setting fees.

Returns & Exchanges on Non-Custom Pieces and Stones

Non-Custom, regular merchandise may be returned for a full refund for 10 days. This does not apply to special orders, any form of custom work or items marked "final sale". We understand that a jewelry purchase can be a big decision, and we want you to feel excited and confident about your purchase with us. The jewelry must be in perfect condition & not altered or worn, & include all paperwork like certificates, boxes etc.

If you are past the initial 10 day Return/Exchange time frame, we allow return on un-altered, in stock items in perfect, unworn condition for 30 days from date of invoice, for a credit only to be used within six months.

Please ask in advance if you have questions about exchanges on special order & "final sale" items, as many are neither returnable nor exchangeable.

Custom Promise
We promise that you will love your custom piece from New Gild Jewelers, or we will modify, redesign or start over one time at no charge. (The only charge may be for a difference in price if the new design would have cost more originally.) We do ask that you share any concerns within 7 days of delivery...this rarely happens, as most design issues are caught early as we keep you involved every step of the way.

This policy doesn't apply to "surprise designs," but applies only if the recipient was included in the original design process. There are rare designs when we exclude the design Promise, but we will tell you before we start if so. Even in these cases we always guarantee our craftsmanship & the overall quality of our work.

Stone return policy
All Diamonds and Colored Gemstones purchased in person become yours when their purchase price is paid. For site-unseen internet orders, gems must be returned or exchanged within 7 days of purchase, as long as there is no wear on the stone i.e. abrasions or chips that weren’t there when the stone was purchased.

Gemstone Certificates
When you purchase a gemstone, we ship it to you with any pre-existing, accompanying gemstone grading report or certificate. These grading reports are detailed documents created by gemstone grading experts and are not able to be replaced. Because of this, we require any certificates to be included with returned gemstones or diamonds. If you do not include the original certificate with your return, you will be charged a certificate replacement fee of $200.

General Site Information.
We make every attempt to ensure that our online info is as accurate and complete as possible. In order to give you the opportunity to view our products in great detail, some products may appear larger or smaller than their actual size in our photographs; and since every computer monitor is different, color and size may vary slightly. We want to provide you with as much information and detail about your prospective purchase as possible. In compliance with industry standards and FTC regulations, New Gild Jewelers states that carat total weight in all purchases may vary 0.05 carats from stated weight.

On the Site, we provide the measurement of our products based on our manufacturing specifications. Slight tolerances may be accounted for based on finishing during the manufacturing. For gemstone and pearl measurements, a tolerance of 0.25mm is allowed. For diamond jewelry set with multiple diamonds, we provide the minimum total carat weight for the piece. Color and clarity grades are expressed as either a minimum or an average depending on the number of diamonds. If stated as a minimum, all diamonds within the piece are at or above the stated quality. If expressed as an average, collectively the quality is equal to or exceeds the grade stated.

Policy on Ethical Sourcing
At New Gild Jewelers, we purchase diamonds through the largest and most respected suppliers who adhere to and enforce the standards established by the Kimberley Process, an international system that polices the trade of diamonds to ensure they are from sources free of conflict.
